Nature holidays in Normandy

Discover the traditional stone and cob housing of the Cotentin marshlands, in the heart of the Regional Nature Park, about 20km from the historic D-Day landing beaches. Label Panda (WWF) in 2006.

Hiking and biking circuits, fishing at 300m from the house. Bird-watching. Horse riding, 5km and 10km. River boat trips. Swimming pool 7km. Beaches at 20km and 35km (eastern and western coasts of the Cotentin peninsula). Numerous museums.

The marshland

In summer, the marshland is dry. In this vast area of pasturage, rivers build a network which once was covered by sailing barges.
